The Arizer Air is a portable herbal vaporizer by a company based in Canada. It delivers some big clouds and has some big advantages over some other portable vaporizers out there. In this Arizer Air review I’ll look at what makes this vape stand out and what it could do better.
• For Aromatic Blends
• Ceramic Heating Element
• Interchangeable Batteries
• Minimal cleaning and maintenance needed
Where the Arizer Air Excels
The Arizer Air is a convection vaporizer which means that you pull hot air over the material. This has some advantages over conduction vaporizers in my experience – less noticeable scent and bigger clouds are two advantages that come to mind.
This vaporizer has great build quality. The casing doesn’t get too hot and the plastic heat shield (around the top of the vaporizer) looks nice and gets rid of the heat quickly and easily without making the air difficult to hold. The air measures 6.5 inches high 1.5 inches wide with a short stem inserted.
The air includes a rechargeable battery that last about an hour and can easily be swapped out with a second battery (sold separately) for extended use while out and about.
The Arizer Air also includes a potpourri bowl. I initially thought it was a funny thing to include but after tossing the potpourri bowl onto my Arizer Extreme Q after a session I found that it really makes your room smell nice. I have a large room and it filled the room quickly with a very pleasant smell – and totally got rid of any other scents in the room. My wife LOVED this feature.
Another great feature of the Air is that you can use it while it’s plugged in, making this a great vaporizer to use as both your desktop rig and your portable.
This vaporizer has 5 heat settings ensuring that you get the most out of your material. The heat settings are as follows:
Level 1 (Blue) – 180°C / 356°F
Level 2 (White) – 190°C / 374°F
Level 3 (Green) – 200°C / 392°F
Level 4 (Orange) – 205°C / 401°F
Level 5 (Red) – 210°C / 410°F
One of the best features of the Arizer Air is that it needs little to no maintenance. When you load your material, you are loading directly into the stem, and drawing through the same glass piece. There is no oven to keep clean and no small air tubes to clean with a pipe cleaner. You can have your session (or 8) and toss the stem into a bath of ISO overnight to clean it. Simple – much simpler than most other portable vapes out there.
Where it Falls short
Some customers have complained that the glass in the short stem can get hot. This is true, but it’s an easily solved problem – the Air comes with a plastic mouthpiece that goes over the glass to ensure a comfortable drawing temperature for your lips.
The glass stem fits tightly going into the chamber, – when I was holding one as someone who hadn’t held one before it felt like I was going to break the glass when trying to take it out. I didn’t break the glass, but it took a bit of getting used to.
The Arizer Air is a very well thought out vaporizer that delivers a solid session. This vape also heats up quickly and is really easy and convenient to use. I use the bottom three heat setting and find that the vapor quality and temperature are perfect. I also love that this unit requires almost no maintenance.
Between the minimal required maintenance and the high quality vapor the air produces this could easily become my go-to vaporizer that replaces my Pax.
